Wow, I am flattered that you're here! As promised, I'll tell you a little more about myself. Starting at a very young age, I have been fascinated with all things eerie and unsettling. I have memories of running to the back of Blockbuster, where they kept all the horror movies, just to gaze over all the gnarley pictures on the DVD boxes. My personal favorite was The Evil Dead 2 with an image of a skull with real eyeballs: luckily dad had a copy at home so I could always get my horror fill *chefs kiss*. My two favorite films growing up were The Labyrinth (featuring an oddly sexy David Bowie) and The Dark Crystal. I'm sure you can imagine the judgement I received from the friends I'd try and force these movies upon; I guess they just weren't into Skeksis or David Bowie - their loss ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On the flip-side, I’ve always had a soft spot for creatures of all kinds - that includes bugs. At 8 years old you would have found me rescuing bugs from a perilous end in our swimming pool. In my mid-20's, you will find me doing the same thing. This appreciation for the small and overlooked has shaped both my art and my life. Whether I’m admiring the patterns on a moth’s wings or adding the final, meticulous pencil strokes to bring depth to a piece, my eye for detail is at the heart of everything I create.
